About The East-West School for Herbal
& Aromatic Studies

Our Philosophy

“We encourage you each to remember, always, that we have a right to choose how to treat our body and what form of medication, food, air and liquid we shall place within it. By exercising free choice, by choosing our own medicine, and by remembering the incredible resources nature offers, we have the power, collectively to empower ourselves and others, in choosing remedies that work with our body rather than against it. We have the potential to expand consciousness and to once again put medicine back into the hands of the people. And it is within education where the path to awareness is nurtured and each of us: empowered. ”

- Jade Shutes -
