PROBATION AND DISMISSAL POLICY

The Director of Education shall determine probation and dismissal policies. Students may be dismissed from the School for 1. Not adhering to the schools code of conduct 2. Missing more than 25% of instructional time that is not made up prior to the end of term 3. Not maintaining the minimum grade point average 4. Is unable to meet his/her financial obligations to the school and 4. other reasons as determined by the Director of Education. Students will be notified in writing of probation and the reasons for this action. The notification will specify the length of time for probation and the action necessary for return to regular student status. the College, and forgery, alteration or use of any College documents of identification with intent to defraud.
• Disruptive, boisterous, vulgar, or obscene behavior, or any behavior inconsistent with the Code of Ethics set forth by NAHA, ARC, RWA or State Law.
• Cheating on exams or assignments.
• Taking and/or using any school property without written permission from the school.
• Intentional disruption or obstruction of teaching and other school activities
• Harassment, verbal or physical threats, abuse, repeated aggressive behavior or violence against fellow students or staff members of the College.
• Any other conduct deemed unprofessional, inappropriate or unethical by The East-West School for Herbal and Aromatic Studies.
