Christina
Hashimoto, LMT
|
|
Christina Hashimoto, LMT Nationally Certified
& Locally Licensed Massage Therapist Advanced Certification,
Pregnancy Massage Diploma, Holistic Aromatherapy. |
|
|
 |
|
As a Licensed
Massage Therapist, it is my intent to assist others along
the path to health and wellness. Whether due to injury, disease
or the stresses of daily living, my goal is to help facilitate
healing for each individual´s ´whole self´.
Christina is Nationally Certified (NCTMB) as well as licensed
by the states of Arizona and Washington as a Massage Therapist.
She is a Professional Member of National Association for Holistic
Aromatherapy.
Christina was trained in the art and science of Massage Therapy
at the Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle, Washington,
as well as that of true, Holistic Aromatherapy at The East West School for Herbal and Aromatic Studies. |
|
|
Christina holds
an advanced Certification in Prenatal Massage and has also
completed additional training in other areas of women’s
health including Lymphatic based Breast Massage and Holistic
Spa techniques. Christina received her training as a Doula
through Seattle Midwifery School and has recently completed
all the requirements; becoming certified through Doulas of
North America. She is also trained as a Reiki Master, though
views energy work as something that should be encouraged to
take place between the individual lying on the treatment table
and their higher self; not the therapist and the individual.
“I would rather consider myself ‘forever a student’
than a ‘master’ of anything. Even as I am confident
in my skills as a therapist and have witnessed
positive results in my clients time and again, I believe I
can always learn more and continue to grow through useful
feedback, personal study and additional, advanced training.”
For massage and bodywork to be effective, we must reach the
body, mind and spirit of each individual ‘Being’.
It is not enough to just work on the physical body or in the
same way, only strive to affect the mental body or emotions.
We are whole beings and as such need to be ‘treated’
with this in mind. That is why my sessions include both skilled
treatment techniques and comforting touch, as well as natural
aromatics, the use of hot or cold, soft lighting and a comfortable
setting, in order to provide our clients with the most beneficial
experience possible. |
