Registration and Admission Information
Rosemary Gladstar once said to a friend of mine "If you have a passion and love of herbs, you should call yourself an herbalist" and my friend added "and through this passion, spend ones life-time learning." The East-West School believes that if you have a passion for plants, aroma´s, health care options, learning and empowerment than you are ready to become a student of aromatherapy or herbal medicine. Whether you choose distance learning or on campus classes The East-West School will provide you with an outstanding and rewarding education program. Excellence in Education is our commitment to you!
Admission Requirements
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. It is recommended that students possess a High School Diploma or a General Education Certificate (G.E.D.). However, a prospective student may be admitted by the Director of Education on the determination that the individual has the ability to benefit from the education or training offered by the school as determined by the Director of Education.
Beginning Your Education
You may wish to contact the School and speak with Jade Shutes or one of our instructors regarding your educational needs and goals. Should you choose to contact the School, we would be more than happy to explain our programs, study methods, time commitment, tuition plans and spend time answering any questions you may have.
Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year for distance learning programs and live classes.

What happens once you apply for admission?
Once we have received your admission application you will receive a phone call or letter from Jade Shutes welcoming you to the program. For Distance Learning: Once your admission application has been processed you will be sent the appropriate course material and any other additional items for the course. We ship USPS Priority or as requested. *International Shipping: The shipping of course material outside of the United States shall be charged at cost. And once your receive the course material you may begin your studies into the wonderful world of Aromatherapy! For On-Campus: Once your admission application has been processed you will be sent a letter of confirmation, a receipt and additional information about the program. We shall look forward to welcoming to the on-campus class of your choice.
